Meralco, Mitsubishi PH put up EV charging stations in DTI, DENR

Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. are rolling out more electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the offices of the departments of trade and industry and environment and natural resources.

The EV charging stations will be located at the DENR Central Office in Quezon City, DTI Office in Makati and DENR regional offices in Cebu and Davao.

The EV charging stations will be installed by Meralco’s wholly-owned subsidiary MSERV.

And as part of Mitsubishi?s advocacy to energize an electric vehicle eco-system in the Philippines, Mitsubishi Motors Japan?through Mitsubishi Motors Philippines?donated five iMiEV (i-Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle) and five Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) to DENR and DTI.
