Kaye Tinga offered the public a first glimpse of the newly restored lobby of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), unveiling a revitalized space that honors the enduring architectural vision of National Artist Leandro Locsin.
Sharing photos from the reopening, Tinga showcased the carefully restored interiors, where the building’s signature modernist design takes center stage once again after an extensive renewal.
“First look at the newly and meticulously restored, revived and renewed CCP Lobby where the genius of National Artist Leandro Locsin is in full display—doesn’t she look absolutely beautiful?” she wrote.
One of the photos captured Tinga with fellow members of the CCP Board on the lobby’s iconic red staircase, while another showed her alongside CCP employees, highlighting the collective effort behind the restoration.
The renewed lobby reflects the CCP’s continuing commitment to preserving one of the country’s most significant architectural landmarks.
Designed by Locsin, the cultural institution has long been regarded as a masterpiece of Philippine modernist architecture and a symbol of the nation’s vibrant arts and cultural heritage.
