SM Hotels and Conventions Corp (SMHCC), the hospitality arm of SM Prime Holdings Inc., has appointed industry veteran Kits Pinga as general manager of Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club.
The company said the appointment supports efforts to streamline operations and improve member retention at its coastal resort in Nasugbu, Batangas, amid rising competition in the luxury leisure segment.
Pinga brings more than 20 years of experience in the leisure and country club industry. He previously served as general manager of Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club and held senior roles at Alabang Country Club, Valley Golf and Country Club, and Calatagan Golf Club Inc.
At Pico de Loro, a 40-hectare residential resort community about 70 kilometers south of Manila, he will oversee day-to-day operations and estate management, with a focus on service improvements and member engagement.
“I look forward to working closely with the team in further strengthening the Club’s service culture, enhancing member benefits, and continuing to build on Pico de Loro’s reputation,” Pinga said.
SMHCC operates 10 hotels with more than 2,600 rooms, including Conrad Manila and Radisson Blu Cebu, as well as over 42,000 square meters of convention space under the SMX brand.—Bilyonaryo.com
