Chinese lifestyle retail brand KKV is facing backlash online after a customer shared her frustration over a price discrepancy that caught her off guard at the checkout counter.
In a viral post, the shopper said she picked up a red panda item tagged at ₱399 on the shelf, only to be told at the cashier that it actually cost ₱499.

Despite her hesitation, she went ahead and paid the higher price but not without calling out the cashier for what she felt was misleading pricing.
That brief complaint opened the floodgates. Soon after, other customers chimed in with similar stories, claiming they, too, had encountered shelf prices that didn’t match what appeared at the counter.
