Joey Concepcion is wasting no time.
In a recent Instagram post, the Go Negosyo founder offered a behind-the-scenes look at early preparations for the Philippines’ chairmanship of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) in 2026.
Concepcion and his team recently met with Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Hellen De La Vega to discuss proposed initiatives aimed at making ASEAN more relevant and impactful—particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), farmers, and vulnerable sectors.
“We want to show the government that we’re ready and excited to work together,” Concepcion said.
Photos from the meeting showed Concepcion and De La Vega deep in discussion, signaling a shared commitment to making the most of the country’s upcoming leadership role in the regional business body.
