Bilyonaryo Ramon del Rosario believes business leaders should be concerned not just by their bottomline, but the country’s future.
The PHINMA chairman and chief executive officer told colleagues at the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) to voice their concerns about the 2025 national budget amid controversies hounding its legislation.
“As finance professionals, we cannot stay silent when we see concerning patterns in public spending. We should not just be guardians of corporate bottom lines; we should be stewards of our nation’s dignity and well-being,” Del Rosario said during FINEX’s 2025 induction ceremonies.
He said finance executives can bring their technical expertise to budget discussions by providing independent analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
“Our role is not merely to crunch numbers, but to safeguard the dignity of every Filipino by ensuring that our nation’s resources are used wisely and equitably,” Del Rosario added.
