Bilyonaryo Kevin Tan is over the moon after learning that one of the luxury hotels in Megaworld’s Newport City earned a spot on the Michelin Guide.

Hotel Okura Manila secured a vote of confidence from the French tire company that vouches for the quality of hotel accommodations all over the world.

“I am immensely proud of our Hotel Okura Manila team at Newport World Resorts for earning a coveted spot in the Michelin Guide’s 2024 selection of hotels and resorts,” said Tan, Megaworld president and CEO.

“This recognition by the Michelin Guide, renowned for evaluating the finest in hospitality and gastronomy worldwide, reflects the exceptional quality, design, and standards upheld by the entire team,” he added.

Tan said the recognition for Hotel Okura inspires its management to work harder to provide an unforgettable experience to guests.
