Interested in art? Yuchengco Museum opens doors for free on May 17-18

The Yuchengco Museum is waiving admission fees on May 17 and 18, 2024 to celebrate the International Museum Day.

For two days, visitors are free to enter the galleries featuring Filipino-Chinese artistry and heritage at the RCBC Plaza in Makati. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

One of the must-visit sections of the museum is the masters’ gallery featuring artworks of esteemed artists such as Juan Luna, Fernando Amorsolo, and Carlos “Botong” Francisco.

The museum also has a gallery dedicated to Jose Rizal where letters written by his family, archival photographs and Rizaliana books are on display.

The fourth floor of the museum features select memorabilia highlighting Yuchengco family’s Chinese heritage, the history of the Yuchengco Group of Companies, and artifacts related to the late Ambassador Alfonso Yuchengco’s business and diplomatic career.
