Buying and selling foreign currency just got easier through RCBC’s updates to its app.
The bank owned by the bilyonaryo Yuchengco clan announced that online transaction limits on foreign exchange will be higher beginning November 28, 2023.
Those buying and selling foreign currencies can transact up to $50,000 at a time. The daily limit is set at $100,000 while the monthly limit is set at $200,000. The amounts are higher the current limits set by the bank.
For bigger amounts, RCBC customers are advised to transact over the counter.
“Foreign exchange transactions made in our branches will remain within BSP’s set limit for individuals at USD 500,000,” the bank said in its public advisory.
