Tonik Digital Bank won’t be accepting cash-in transactions from debit cards issued by other banks at the moment.
The online lender said Tonik accounts can only be funded through InstaPay or PESONet fund transfers, as well as machine-based cash deposits.
“We’re disabling cash in transactions via debit cards due to technical issues with our payments partner,” Tonik explained. “Super thanks for your patience!”
Replying to a netizen’s query, Tonik said those who obtained “Flex Loans” on the platform can still pay their monthly dues through auto-debit.
