Tabuena posts Top 10 finish, banks P1.58M

Miguel Tabuena closed with a scorching seven-under-par 64 to post a Top 10 finish in the Indonesian Masters at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club in Jakarta on Sunday.

The 29-year-old collected eight birdies against a single bogey to complete 72 holes on 13-under 271, good for a tie for ninth place with American Micah Shin and Thai Sadom Kaewkanjana.

The ICTSI-backed player carded rounds of 70-68-69-64 to bring home $28,975 (roughly P1.58 million).

Gaganjeet Bhullar of India capped a wire-to-wire, five-shot victory with an eagle on 18 for a 67. He banked $270,000.
Karandeep Kochhar, another Indian, sparkled with a 63 to finish in solo second on 265, a stroke ahead of third placers Ben Campbell and David Puig who carded a 65 and 66, respectively.

Two other Filipinos finished well behind the pack.

Angelo Que returned a 73 to slip to 283 for joint 61st while Justin Quiban was alone in 66th on 288 after a 76.
