It appears that everyone was stoked to see whether their balances became bigger because of bonuses and crediting of the 13th month pay.
A viral post from John Mark Ureta showed the Sy-blings’ BDO, the Aboitiz family’s UnionBank, and government-owned Land Bank apps became temporarily inaccessible on the same day.
BDO even took a while to restore their services that it merited a social media advisory.
