President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. took time out from his busy schedule to celebrate the 60th birthday of his cousin, House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Family members and friends of Romualdez attended his birthday party at the posh Grand Hyatt Hotel at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on November 13, the eve of his actual birthday.
Romualdez had an early celebration because his birthday fell on his and Marcos’ departure for the United States to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in California.
The hotel’s ballorom was packed with VIPs from the worlds of business and politics, with Romualdez’s colleagues from the House of Representatives in full attendance to with him a happy birthday.
