Digital comfort: Dennis Anthony Uy’s free Wi-fi initiative takes off at NAIA T3

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. offered complimentary public Wi-Fi services at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, which caters to approximately 13 million passengers annually.

As part of its Free Pure Fiber Wi-Fi initiative, Converge is working towards providing free connectivity across various terminals at selected international and domestic airports. This collaborative effort involves the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and multiple airport operators.

Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and co-founder of Converge, underscored the significance of a reliable and secure connection to enhance the travel experience, especially during peak holiday seasons. The initiative aims to facilitate smoother and more enjoyable journeys for passengers by leveraging the capabilities of a pure fiber connection.

Under the program, registered users will have access to two hours of complimentary browsing each day.

Converge subscribers stand to benefit further, with those having a GoFiber account eligible for an additional six hours of free internet access for up to five devices by inputting their account number. Prepaid fiber internet subscribers under Surf2Sawa can also enjoy an extra six hours of free Wi-Fi for two devices upon registration.

Converge has activated over 120 access points throughout NAIA Terminal 3, extending secure and free connectivity to areas such as arrival and departure zones, waiting areas, and retail spaces.
