Smash Factor swept the singles matches on its way to a 4-3 victory over Junior Mafia in the annual Barkadahan tournament at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club on Saturday.
Nathan Kawpeng and Felicia Medalla hurdled their singles matches while the tandem of John Gobing and Martin Dy Buncio took care of business in the aggregate scores format to account for Smash Factor’s three victories.
Kawpeng edged Marlon Dizon, 3 and 2, while Medalla disposed of Gene Go, 4 and 3, in singles.
Gobing and Dy Buncio, on the other hand, whipped Vince Ngo and Daniel Ng, 4 and 3.
Junior Mafia posted two wins courtesy of Timothy Dy-Nelson Lee, and Russel Ng-Samantha Tan.
Dy and Lee won their high-low match with Leana Carmona and David Chan, 4 and 3.
In scramble play, Ng and Tan took the measure of Howard Ching and David Sy, 4 and 3.
Two other matches ended in deadlocks.
Smash Factor’s Garry Uy and Benson Lim fought Euls Austin and Ethan Wong to a standoff in greensomes.
Also drawn were the four-ball match pitting Smash’s Victor Mapua and Ronald Robins against Sofia Araneta and Venice Ngo.
