Global fast-food giant Jollibee Foods Corp., founded by bilyonaryo Tony Tan Caktiong, has harnessed the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) with the inauguration of its latest branch in Singapore.
The newly-opened 20th Jollibee store in Singapore stands as a pioneering AI-assisted drive-thru establishment, marking a significant leap in technological innovation across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, excluding the Philippines.
Situated at the Caltex Jurong Spring station, this groundbreaking drive-thru location reflects the brand’s commitment to staying at the forefront of customer experience enhancement.
Dennis Flores, president of Jollibee Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia, said: “This milestone coincides with our 10th anniversary in Singapore, during which time we have expanded from a single outlet in Lucky Plaza to 20 stores across the country, growing our consumer base from serving primarily Filipinos to now serving the mainstream Singaporean market, who compose a predominant majority of our customers today.”
Flores further expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of the Singaporean community and revealed plans for further expansion within Singapore and the broader EMEAA region.
The launch of Jollibee Singapore’s first drive-thru establishment follows closely on the heels of the brand’s recent store opening in Malaysia, where it celebrated the opening of its 10th location at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
In the first half of the year, Jollibee has expanded its global footprint with the opening of 38 stores, of which 23 are located outside the Philippines, reaffirming the brand’s remarkable growth trajectory.
