Rhoda “Chiqui” Huang, President and CEO of Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC), has assumed a seat on the board of directors at East West Banking Corp.
Both FDC and East West are under the control of the Gotianun family.

Huang’s extensive experience includes her prior role as president of BPI Capital Corp. before her tenure at FDC. She has also held the position of branch head of Investment Banking at Credit Suisse Philippines and spent 19 years with JP Morgan Chase.
Huang’s appointment comes as Francis Gotianun, formerly occupying the board seat, shifts his focus to leadership responsibilities within FDC’s hospitality division and other directorships in Filinvest Land Inc. and Filinvest REIT Corp.
