Bilyonaryo Manny Pangilinan is dangling an irresistible offer to fans of collegiate sports, who miss seeing UAAP action live on television.
The Pangilinan-led Smart Communications announced that subscribers can watch games of the UAAP Season 86 for free through the Smart LiveStream app.
Subscribers, however, have to be connected to Smart mobile data or to PLDT Home Wifi to watch the collegiate games live.
The UAAP Season 86 will kick off on September 30, with the games of the men’s senior basketball tournament happening at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The University of the East Red Warriors, this season’s host, will take on the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers at 2 p.m., followed by the match between Ateneo Blue Eagles and National University Bulldogs at 4 p.m.
