The MVP Group of Companies has once again come to the aid of the government, this time playing a key role in the success of Ilocos Norte’s LAB for ALL program.
Through the combined efforts of the MakatiMed Foundation and Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, with support from other members of the MVP Group, almost 1,000 beneficiaries were served by a team of 38 doctors, nurses, technicians, engineers, and volunteers.
First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos expressed her gratitude to the private sector for making the LAB for ALL caravan in Ilocos Norte a success.
The Libreng Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para sa Lahat or LAB for ALL is an initiative aimed at providing free laboratory services, free X-rays, free consultations with specialists, and free medicines for the Filipino community.
“LAB for ALL, ito po ay programa ng aking asawa. He wants to bring medical services closer to the people and not the other way around. It’s all about improving our lives,” Marcos said.
“Of course, we cannot do this alone. To be more effective, we need the help of the private sector,” she added.”
