Mariana Zobel gets top post in Ayala Land

The daughter of ultra bilyonaryo Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and wife Lizzie has been assigned an executive post in Ayala Land Inc. (ALI).

Mariana Beatriz Zobel de Ayala was named senior vice president of ALI starting October 1.

Mariana, who was named director ALI last year, is currently a board member of AREIT Inc. and SVP for marketing and digital platforms at Bank of the Philippine Islands.

The 34-year old, who started her career at JP Morgan before joining the family business as project development for Alveo Land, and as a corporate strategy and business development associate with Ayala Corporation. She has a Social Studies degree from Harvard College and an MBA from INSEAD.

In addition to Mariana’s appointment, other officials promoted to Senior Vice President include Joseph Carmichael Jugo, Raquel Cruz, and Christopher Maglanoc. ALI has also announced Isabel Sagun as its Chief Human Resources Officer and Roscoe Pineda as Chief Information Officer.

Furthermore, Yale and Wharton-trained Pauline Clarisse Feria, the head of strategy at Ayala Corporation, has been appointed as new Vice President, along with advertising expert Jeremy Sy. Enrique Manuel Jr., ALI’s Corporate Support HR Head, has been promoted to Vice President.
