The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) is soliciting feedback from the public if service quality changed as a result of the PLDT-SkyCable buyout.
Last March, the telco provider led by bilyonaryo Manny Pangilinan announced its full acquisition of the Lopez family’s Sky Cable Corp. for P6.75 billion in a bid to boost its broadband and cable television subscription services.
The PCC said it is accepting complaints or observations “which may involve changes in prices and quality of products and services being offered” by the two companies since the buyout occurred.
The deal is not yet fully completed as it remains under PCC review.
