Basketball coach Charles Tiu found solace on the golf course following his team’s disappointing opening day loss on the hardwood.
Tiu, who guides the St. Benilde Blazers from the sidelines, secured an impressive eagle during the 15th Wong Chu King Founders Cup.
Tiu’s remarkable feat occurred when he flawlessly completed a challenging par 4 hole in just two strokes at Ayala Greenfields on Monday, September 25.
Witnessing his achievement was WCF boss Caesar Wongchuking and his nephew, Karl.

The previous day, Tiu took badly his team’s 81-85 loss to the Lyceum Pirates in the first day of the NCAA Season 99.
“We suck. So overrated. Myself specially. I need to do better,” said Tiu.
Lighten up coach, it’s a long season.
myself especially. I need to do better.
