HYBE has confirmed the extension of its contract with all seven BTS members: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
BTS, synonymous with South Korea’s global cultural influence, embarked on their incredible journey with Big Hit Entertainment, HYBE’s predecessor, in 2013. Since then, they’ve skyrocketed to global superstardom, creating a fan phenomenon that knows no borders.
Their music consistently dominates prestigious charts worldwide, including the US Billboard, UK Official Charts, Japanese Oricon, iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and many more.
Yet, BTS’s impact goes beyond their chart-topping music. They’ve leveraged their enormous platform for significant contributions to society, such as delivering impactful speeches at the United Nations and launching the LOVE MYSELF campaign.
As a heartfelt appreciation for BTS and their dedicated fanbase, known as ARMY, Big Hit Music has announced a substantial donation of 1 billion KRW (approximately 754,398.20 USD) to the UNICEF Korea Committee.
This generous act perfectly aligns with the LOVE MYSELF campaign, jointly initiated by BTS and their agency in November 2017, showcasing their commitment to making the world a better place through their influence and philanthropy.
"If our voices can give strength to people, then that’s what we want and that’s what we’ll keep on doing."
