‘Di na fresh! J. Co discourages buying from resellers

The Indonesian donut chain J. Co has advised the public against buying its products from resellers, some of which reportedly even offer installment payment options.

J. Co issued the warning amid the spread of viral videos featuring boxes of its donuts, which were reportedly sold for lower than the retail price.

“We’ve received information regarding the reselling of J.CO donuts online and from unknown sources outside our stores. J.CO Philippines does not have any official or authorized resellers and such activities are highly discouraged,” the company said.

“We highly urge you to only purchase your donuts directly from the stores to ensure the freshness and quality of your favorite treats,” J. Co added.

Some netizens reported seeing resellers of J. Co donuts along walkways and sidewalks.
