Back on board: PAL reopens doors to non-immigrant passengers for US travel

Bilyonaryo Lucio Tan’s Philippine Airlines (PAL) has resumed its acceptance of non-immigrant passengers who qualify for the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP) for flights to the United States.

This decision follows official confirmation from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, allowing PAL to once again welcome non-immigrant visitors traveling under the VWP.

Passengers holding valid visa waiver authorizations through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) are now eligible to make immediate bookings with Philippine Airlines for travel to the US.

PAL said eligible passengers who were previously rebooked on other airlines due to precautionary measures now have the option to maintain their current itineraries. Those desiring to switch back to a PAL flight can request rebooking assistance through the PAL Customer Support channels provided.

Villaluna expressed apologies for any inconvenience experienced and expressed gratitude for passengers’ understanding and cooperation.

PAL presently offers direct flights to multiple US destinations, including San Francisco, New York, Guam, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.
