Bilyonaryo Andrew Tan’s Megaworld anticipates generating around P5 billion in sales from its latest residential condominium project within the 34-hectare Bacolod City township, marking its tallest residential development in Visayas to date.
Scheduled for completion in 2029, the Kensington Sky Garden, a 26-story twin-tower residential complex, will offer 643 ‘smart home’ units. Situated at the intersection of Upper East Avenue and Bentley Street, just across from the recently inaugurated Landers Superstore, this new Megaworld property aims to become an iconic Bacolod landmark.
Drawing inspiration from the Victorian era in New York, Kensington Sky Garden offers a range of unit sizes, including studios, executive studios, one bedroom, two Bedroom, and three bedroom units, all featuring either balconies or lanais.
Each unit at Kensington Sky Garden will be equipped with a wireless smart home system, complete with WiFi-enabled devices accessible via a dedicated mobile app.
The second level of the complex will serve as a central amenity area for both towers, featuring amenities such as adult and kiddie pools, a pool bar, landscaped spaces, outdoor fitness zones, children’s play areas, gazebos, reading nooks, a fitness center, daycare facilities, as well as game and entertainment rooms—all designed for the enjoyment of future residents.
Kensington Sky Garden will introduce an innovative feature—an electric vehicle (EV) charging facility within its basement parking area. This forward-looking initiative, the first of its kind in Bacolod City, aligns with the anticipated growth of electric and hybrid vehicles.
In addition to Kensington Sky Garden, The Upper East hosts four other residential developments: One Regis, Two Regis, One Manhattan, and Herald Parksuites, boasting a combined total of 1,028 units.
Megaworld is poised to commence construction of the 300-room Kingsford Hotel and the highly anticipated Upper East Mall in the coming year, further enhancing the appeal and amenities of this dynamic township.
