The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the increase in the authorized capital of DigiPlus Interactive by P2 billion.
In a disclosure to the stock exchange, DigiPlus Interactive, chaired by STI Holdings owner Eusebio Tanco, confirmed that it has received the green light from the SEC to raise its authorized capital stock from P5 billion to P7 billion.
This substantial increase in the company’s capitalization is expected to provide crucial support for its ongoing operations and potential expansion initiatives.
DigiPlus Interactive is strategically poised to introduce novel and cutting-edge digital products aimed at enriching entertainment options for the Filipino consumer market.
As of July, the company’s platforms, BingoPlus and ArenaPlus, boasted a combined registered user base exceeding 20 million.
Furthermore, in a bid to reinvigorate its brand identity and realign its focus towards innovative technological platforms, the company’s board has approved the name change from DigiPlus Corp. to DigiPlus Interactive Corp.
