Start ‘em young! Shang Properties eyes millennials, Gen Zs for Laya complex

Shang Properties aims to capture a share of millennial and Gen Z markets through the Laya complex in Pasig.

Jayme T. Uy, marketing director at Shang Properties, told ANC that Malaysian billionaire Robert Kuok’s firm sees a brisk demand for housing among young families and professionals.

“These are the ones who are able to maintain their work despite the pandemic,” Uy said.

“They’re the ones experiencing the hybrid concept of work, those who are working from home now and they’re realizing that they need the space to be able to do everything within their own home,” she added.

Located along Christian route, units at Laya ranges from P10 million for a studio unit to P40 million for a three-bedroom unit.

Laya’s construction is expected to be finished by 2028.
