Exie Robles borrows P900 million as Sta. Lucia plans to develop 100 hectares in Batangas, Bulacan, Rizal, Pangasinan

Sta. Lucia Land (SLI) of bilyonaryo Exequiel “Exie” Robles has tapped P900 million in new credit lines as it embarks on new projects covering a total of 100 hectares.

SLI obtained a P400 million unsecured short term loan from the Philippine Veterans Bank and another P500 million from Unicapital Inc. and Unicapital Finance and Investments.

In addition to approving these new financing arrangements, the SLI board has given the green light for the acquisition of a 1.8-hectare land parcel in Batangas. SLI has also entered into a partnership agreement for the development of a 7.9-hectare property in the same province.

Among the joint venture projects sanctioned by SLI are a 9.8-hectare land venture in Pangasinan, a 5.5-hectare property in Rizal, and a three-hectare land development in Bulacan.
