President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will be flying to Singapore on his birthday to headline a regional summit and watch the finals of Formula One Singapore Grand Prix 2023.
Malacañang said Marcos will deliver a 30-minute speech on his administration’s agenda at the Asia Summit organized by the Milken Institute.
On September 17, he will be watching the F1 Grand Prix finals at the Marina Bay area upon invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Marcos also made an unannounced visit to Singapore last year to watch the F1 Grand Prix. The trip drew flak on social media due to the President’s supposed insensitivity to concerns at home.
The President was most recently in Indonesia for the 43rd ASEAN Summit.
