Jerry Liu continues Angel’s Pizza’s aggressive expansion spree to support rapid growth

Bilyonaryo Jerry Liu’s Figaro Coffee Group Inc. (FGC) is further beefing up the presence of its pizza chain brand across the country.

In a statement, FGC said it has so far opened 35 new Angel’s Pizza stores this year, bringing its network to a total of 104 branches.

The new stores are located in Rosario and Trece Martires in Cavite, Nueva Ecija, Tuguegarao, Lucena, Laoag, Baguio Palace Hotel, La Union, and Dumaguete.

“Right now, we’re being aggressive in opening more and more Angel’s Pizza stores all over the country,” said Ace Azarraga, FCG brand and partnership director.

Azarraga said Angel’s Pizza will open more stores for the remainder of the year as part of its aggressive expansion.

Angel’s Pizza is FCG’s main driver of growth as it continues to build more loyal customers.

FCG subsidiary Figaro Coffee Systems Inc., which operates and franchises a network of restaurants including Figaro Coffee, Angel’s Pizza, Tien Ma’s, The Figaro Group Express outlet, and Café Portofino, is targeting to open around 100 stores for 2023.
