The Gokongwei-owned Uncle John’s is no longer just a chain of convenience stores, but a virtual bank for depositors of GoTyme Bank.
The digital bank announced that its clients can now deposit and withdraw money for free at any Uncle John’s branch using their GoTyme Bank app or Visa debit card.
Depositors can also use the GoTyme Bank app to buy Uncle John’s meals and other goods from the store, thanks to its QR code readability function.
GoTyme is indeed finding ways to bring next-level banking to Filipinos.
