DoubleDragon, led by business magnate Injap Sia, has kicked off the construction of an industrial warehouse complex in Negros Occidental, further expanding its CentralHub network within the Philippines.
The CentralHub-Negros venture encompasses 10.06 hectares, set to contribute approximately 74,000 square meters of industrial warehouse leasable space to DoubleDragon’s extensive leasing portfolio.
The first segment of the project is slated for completion by the coming year, while the second phase aims to conclude by 2025.
Positioned a mere five-minute drive from the Silay Negros International Airport and approximately 25 minutes away from Bacolod City proper and Bradco Bacolod Port, CentralHub-Negros enjoys strategic connectivity.
With aspirations of emerging as a significant player across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, DoubleDragon envisions CentralHub to become one of the largest landlords of industrial warehouse complexes.
Designed to serve diverse operational needs, CentralHub’s array of industrial warehouse complexes are versatile enough to accommodate functions such as warehousing, commissaries, cold storage facilities, and logistics distribution centers.
Presently, CentralHub has already established six industrial warehouse complexes, amassing an industrial asset portfolio spanning 605,732 square meters.
In tandem with ongoing developments across various provinces, CentralHub remains committed to advancing its P24.8 billion industrial leasing portfolio, as it sets its sights on becoming the first Philippine industrial REIT IPO.
DoubleDragon has signified its intention to proceed with the planned IPO once REIT capitalization rates resettle at levels ranging between five and six percent.
