Tough times have not stopped ABS-CBN from doing good for the environment.
Mobile wallet GCash has credited the bilyonaryo Lopez-owned broadcast giant for leading the way in its flagship sustainability program.
The Ayala-owned e-wallet said the Lopez network was responsible for planting 101,200 trees through the GForest partnership.
Under the agreement, ABS-CBN sponsored tree-planting activities which were initiated by GCash users.
“We would like to thank one of our partners, ABS-CBN, for a successful green partnership!,” GCash said. “Overall, GForest has planted a total of 2.4M trees nationwide!”
