The Union Bank of the Philippines has warned jobseekers against entertaining job offers where they are asked to pay a processing or hiring fee.
The Aboitiz-owned lender caught wind of yet another scam using UnionBank’s name to dupe unsuspecting jobseekers into thinking that they might land a job in the company.
“Watch out for FAKE job offers! UnionBank of the Philippines will not request money or any form of payment from job applicants,” the bank said.
It also identified two email addresses as fake and not connected to UnionBank in any way:
– talents.ub@outlook.com
– unionbankcareersph@gmail.com
