Manila Water Company Inc., by ultra bilyonaryo Enrique K. Razon Jr., is prioritizing organic growth as its primary strategy.
However, the company remains open to strategic partnerships and acquisitions as it seeks to expand its presence both domestically and internationally.
In an interview with reporters, Manila Water’s chief administrative officer, Roberto Locsin, emphasized the company’s focus on leveraging its existing portfolio, including the east zone, for organic growth opportunities.
However, Locsin also expressed the company’s willingness to explore additional avenues for expansion.
For its local expansion plans, Manila Water is targeting highly populated areas, as well as secondary and tertiary cities.
However, specific details regarding these expansion initiatives were not disclosed due to
ongoing discussions.
Locsin indicated that the company’s objective is to engage with water districts that have significant scale, where Manila Water’s investments can generate viable returns.
