It was an eye-opening moment.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, artist Melissa Yeung Yap shared her transformative visit to Marillac Hills, an empowering shelter in Alabang that provides refuge for over 100 sexually exploited women and children.
Deeply moved by their stories, Melissa expressed her gratitude to the Zonta Club of Makati & Environs for inviting her to contribute her art and raise funds for therapy. Despite her initial plans for a solo exhibition next year, Yap quickly organized a show on July 2 at Art Lounge Manila Molito to support the cause urgently.
Melissa’s signed and framed scarves are available at Art Lounge Manila, while her fashion collaborations with XYZ are available at Yong Studio. Every purchase contributes to funding this important cause.
