The bilyonaryo Zobel de Ayala clan has mobilized volunteer teams to pack and distribute relief goods for residents of Albay amid the Mayon Volcano’s unrest.
Ayala Corp. chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala said the Ayala Foundation has taken charge of assembling group-wide employee volunteers for the relief operations.
“Since June 12th, they have started packing food packs and KN95 masks in bags at the Ayala Malls in Legaspi. Along with these, portalets will also be distributed throughout this week to evacuation centers in Tabaco, Malilipot, Ligao, Guinobatan, Daraga and Camalig,” JAZA shared.
“I would like to thank our employee-volunteers who went out of their way to help our fellow Filipinos in need,” he added.
