Max’s Group Inc. (MGI) announced that Robert Trota, a seasoned industry veteran, is set to reclaim his role as president and CEO of the company effective August 31, 2023.

His appointment comes after the resignation of current president Ariel Fermin for unknown reasons.
As president and CEO, Trota will oversee the diverse business units under MGI, including Max’s Restaurant, Yellow Cab Pizza Co., Pancake House, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice, Teriyaki Boy, Sizzlin’ Steak, Dencio’s, and the manufacturing arm, No Bia Inc.
With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in the food and beverage industry, Trota’s return to the helm signifies continuity in MGI’s strategic direction.
The company remains steadfast in its commitment to placing the customer at the heart of its operations.
MGI chairperson Sharon Fuentebella expressed confidence in Trota’s ability to lead.
“Together with the board and management team, we will ensure the company’s goals are executed consistent with our vision and mission.”
Fuentebella emphasized Trota’s expertise and affirmed that MGI will stay on course to deliver exceptional experiences to its customers.
Fuentebella also took the opportunity to acknowledge Fermin’s invaluable contributions to MGI during his tenure.
She credited his leadership for successfully navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic, enabling the company to not only endure but also refine its business model and tap into new opportunities in the rapidly expanding food retail segment.
