Business magnate Ed Saavedra’s Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC), a leading player in the renewable energy industry, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its Central Warehouse in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
Strategically situated at the First Cavite Industrial Estate, the expansive Central Warehouse spans 13,000 square meters and is poised to optimize CREC’s supply chain as the company embarks on an ambitious plan to roll out 1,000 megawatts of power generation capacity annually.
The Central Warehouse will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination and supply of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for the operation and maintenance of CREC’s solar plants across Luzon.
This centralized approach will enhance CREC’s operational efficiency, facilitating streamlined logistics and accelerated project completion timelines, resulting in optimal power generation and timely delivery of clean energy.
It also solidifies CREC’s end-to-end capabilities in providing comprehensive energy solutions encompassing land acquisition, pre-development, engineering, design and construction, and plant operations and maintenance.
As a leading developer and operator of pure renewable energy projects, including solar, run-of-river hydro, and offshore wind platforms, CREC boasts an impressive project pipeline of over 5 gigawatts (5,000 MW) at various stages of development.
