Entrepreneur Katrina Ponce Enrile has officially begun her duty as head of the Cagayan Special Economic Zone (CEZA).
The daughter of chief presidential legal counsel Juan Ponce Enrile took her oath of office before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday (June 7), signaling the start of her new job. The 99-year-old patriarch witnessed the momentous event.
The businesswoman who founded the Delimondo corned beef brand was appointed weeks ago by Marcos to lead the operations of the economic zone that is located in the Enrile family’s bailiwick of Cagayan.
The Enrile-owned JAKA Corp. is an accredited ecozone service enterprise in CEZA.
