Injap Sia’s Cebu airport hotel project sells out in record time, surpassing targets

DoubleDragon, led by business magnate Injap Sia, has fully sold out its airport hotel project in Cebu in just 21 months, surpassing its target completion date by over a year.

The 548-room Hotel101-Cebu Mactan is set to become the largest airport hotel in the Visayas and Mindanao region.

Construction is currently underway on a prime commercial lot spanning 5,493 square meters along the Cebu Mactan Airport Terminal Road, near the popular Mactan Marina Mall.

The strategic addition of Hotel101-Cebu Mactan Airport aligns with DoubleDragon’s goal of becoming the leading branded hotel chain in the country and expanding its presence globally.

The successful sale of the Hotel101-Cebu Mactan Airport significantly contributes to DoubleDragon’s strategic objective of establishing itself as the premier branded hotel chain in the Philippines in the near term. Furthermore, the company aims to expand its influence beyond national boundaries and become a recognized player in the global hospitality industry.

In addition to the 548-room Hotel101-Cebu Mactan Airport project, DoubleDragon has achieved full sales for its initial two Metro Manila ventures: the Hotel101–Fort, offering 606 rooms, and the Hotel101–Manila, comprising 518 rooms.

The company is preparing to embark on its third Hotel101 in Metro Manila, marking its entry into Quezon City. This project, known as the Hotel101-Libis Bridgetowne, will house 745 rooms and will be situated along E. Rodriguez Avenue in Libis, Quezon City.

The Hotel101 brand’s development pipeline includes secured prime titled land sites in Cebu, Libis, Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol. This extensive inventory is anticipated to generate P18.14 billion in revenue, excluding the revenue derived from Hotel101 overseas projects, which are expected to contribute additional earnings in US dollars.
