In a significant turn of events, Tito, Vic, and Joey, the iconic trio known as the heart and soul of “Eat Bulaga,” have successfully found a new home for their beloved “Eat Bulaga” family.
Just days after parting ways with their long-time partnership with former Congressman Romy Jalosjos and GMA 7, owned by bilyonaryo Felipe Gozon, they have joined forces with Mediaquest Group.
Led by bilyonaryo Manny V. Pangilinan, Mediaquest Group has inked a groundbreaking agreement to welcome TVJ, along with their co-hosts and creative staff from “Eat Bulaga,” to TV5.
The move has been highly anticipated, as earlier reports from bilyonaryo.com indicated that TVJ and their Dabarkads would be taking over the coveted noontime slot currently occupied by ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime.”

According to bilyonaryo.com, as part of the reshuffling, “It’s Showtime” will be moved to the pre-prime time slot.
This strategic maneuver aims to enhance the programming lineup of Mediaquest Group and solidifies a content alliance with ABS-CBN, owned by the Lopez family.
According to a Babbler, TVJ is eager to resume their program within the coming month. Mediaquest Group and ABS-CBN are currently engaged in negotiations regarding the relocation of “It’s Showtime,” as the block time agreement for the show is set to conclude by the end of June.
Babbler said TVJ have proposed to call their new show “TVJ Dabarkads” or “EATsang Libo’t EATsang tuwa” pending their legal efforts to control the “Eat Bulaga” trademark.
