Telco giant PLDT has expressed confidence in the growth potential of its enterprise business following the completion of its data center in Laguna.
Alfredo S. Panlilio, president and CEO, highlighted the significance of the newly finished VITRO Santa Rosa data center for the company’s enterprise division.
“Enterprise remains to be a very interesting growth area for us, especially by the first quarter next year as the VITRO Santa Rosa data center will be completed,” Panlilio said.
He further emphasized the potential for growth in the enterprise segment, particularly through cloud solutions and managed services.
In the first quarter of the year, PLDT Enterprise reported a five percent rise in revenues to P11.8 billion. This growth was attributed to the industry sector’s increasing digital transformation initiatives and the expanding ICT service requirements of both global and local businesses.
