Giving back to our heroes: BPI Foundation opens scholarship applications to kin of COVID-19 frontliners

BPI Foundation is honoring the heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic by helping their children and relatives access quality education.

The Ayala-owned lender announced its Pagpupugay Scholarship Program, which offers educational assistance to family members of a health frontliner who caught COVID-19 at the height of the outbreak.

To qualify, an applicant must be the child or next-of-kin of a once COVID-stricken health worker with satisfactory grades in school.

This is the bank foundation’s special way of thanking them for their sacrifice and service. Applications are accepted until May 19, 2023.
