An heiress of the Lorenzana food business is turning up the heat on Wildflour Cafe + Bakery’s expansion.
A Babbler said CEO and president Ana Lorenzana de Ocampo expects to put up eight more branches after the recent opening of its 17th store in Alabang.
Babbler said De Ocampo anticipates having a total of 25 restaurants over the next 12 months, with locations spanning Quezon City, Shangrila Plaza, and Baguio.
Babbler said Wildflour has been in discussions with some investment bankers who have suggested that the wildly successful resto group raise funds through an initial public offering.
Babbler said Wildflour was considering an IPO but added that if they do push through with it, they might do it in one or two years down the road.
De Ocampo established Wildflour in 2012 with her sister, multi-awarded pastry chef Margarita Lorenzana-Manzke, and her brother-in-law, three Michelin-star chef Walter Manzke.
