Family Mart branches in Metro Manila are reportedly closing down, and it is suspected that the financial troubles of owner Dennis Uy could be a contributing factor.
A concerned netizen noticed the closure of the Family Mart branch along Chino Roces Avenue and conducted an investigation to uncover the cause.
The netizen’s findings suggest that the store was open until midnight before shutting down, possibly to liquidate inventory.
Another abandoned Family Mart along Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. I asked the guard sa building bakit sarado na, sabi niya andami daw utang and hindi na nagbabayad. And who is the owner of Family Mart now? It’s Dennis Uy. pic.twitter.com/gCZ0rXHyDH
