Ultra bilyonaryo Manny Villar penned a farewell letter to his long-time friend and business associate, Laura Acuzar.
Acuzar passed away on April 29, 2023 at 73. She had been independent director of AllHome Corp. since 2019.
Villar said he is “deeply saddened” about news of the death of their long-time colleague and friend.
“My family and I, as well as the entire Villar Group family, celebrate the wonderful life of Laura and how she positively affected everyone who got the chance to know her. Our prayers and well wishes to her family and friends. We will deeply miss her,” he wrote in an Instagram post days after her death.
Acuzar is an audit expert, having previously worked as an Audit & Business Advisory Partner of SGV & Co. She used to be the chairman of VFund Management, Inc. since 2022. She used to be president of the UST Alumni Association.
