Senator Cynthia Villar is considering taking legal action against the person who took and posted a video of her berating a security guard in Las Pinas City.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Villar said she was consulting with her lawyers to determine if she could sue the person who uploaded the now viral video without her consent.
She also denied having an outburst with the guards and insisted that she was only telling them to remove the fences that blocked the composting facility inside the subdivision in Las Pinas.
“Walang outburst, there’s no outburst. They’re just inventing that. I was just telling them to remove the gate because it’s for public use. It’s not for me, I don’t need that,” said Villar.
“Ang laki-laki niya para masaktan ko siya. There’s something wrong with him. He’s a security guard, he has a gun in his holster. Anong sasabihin ko, masasaktan ko ba yan? Ang tapang ko naman, ang laki-laki niya ang liit-liit ko, wala akong baril, siya may baril. Why will I do it?”
