Best Soups in the World, and we couldn’t be more proud!
Sinigang, a mouthwatering sour soup made with tamarind, vegetables, and your choice of meat, takes the 44th spot on the list with a 4.4 out of 5-star ranking.
Meanwhile, bulalo, a hearty beef bone marrow soup that’s perfect for chilly nights, snags the 45th place with a similarly impressive 4.4-star rating.
What’s even more impressive is that both soups ranked highly among a pool of competitors that received 4.7 stars, with only a few dishes receiving 4.6 and 4.5 stars respectively. The fact that our humble Filipino soups made it to the top 50 is a testament to the rich and flavorful cuisine that the Philippines has to offer.
